What is Workplace Giving?
A community partnership between the Westpac Life Saver, businesses and their employees to ensure the continued operation of the Service.
 
How does the Service benefit from your donation?
Every dollar is valuable and helps ensure the Service remains a vital part of emergency rescue on the Central Coast, greater Sydney and southern NSW areas.
 
A small tax deductible donation from you can make a big difference. Your support will contribute towards:
  • The cost of a mission ($4000 per hour)
  • The cost for a crew flight suit, helmet and equipment ($8400)
  • A new engine ($380,000)
How do you benefit from making a regular donation?
You become one of the growing numbers of people in the community making a difference. There is no obligation and you can alter the amount deducted or withdraw at any time.
 
The amount is deducted from your salary before the tax is applied so you get the tax benefit straight away.
Your regular donation does not affect gross income or other calculations such as superannuation, guaranteed payments or fringe benefits.
 
In some cases your employer may have a company matching policy in place. This means they match your contribution to the Service and we get twice the benefit! Ask them.
 
Staff morale and loyalty in the workplace is increased because of your contribution!
 
Your support through Workplace Giving will allow us to continue providing a free service with the sole mission of saving lives
 
If you would like to support the Service, please fill out the Workplace Giving form and pass on to your payroll department along with the Payroll Q&A form.
