Shark Alarm, Batemans Bay
23 January 2012
At around 1100 hours, a number of surfers reported seeing a shark in the vicinity of Malua Bay, Batemans Bay. Our south coast helicopter, Lifesaver 3, was tasked by the Surf Life Saving State Operations Centre to conduct a search. That and nearby beaches were searched extensively but there were no further shark sightings.
