Overturned boat, Congo

Shortly before 1130 hours, Lifesaver 3 was tasked to attend in the vicinity of Congo Beach, south of Moruya as reports had been received that a boat had overturned there, throwing its six occupants into the water.   Local surf lifesavers were also quick to respond and all six people were rescued by them.

A Marine Rescue NSW vessel had also been tasked to the scene and the Westpac Life Saver dropped a "smoke" into the water to assist them in locating the submerged boat.
