Distress Beacon search, Port Hacking

Tasked by AusSAR at 1630 hours, after a distress beacon had been activated in the Port Hacking area. Following a search, Lifesaver 1 located a group of kayakers.   The crew were able to communicate with them on marine radio.  The kayakers confirmed that their distress beacon had been accidently activated and that they were not in trouble.
