The Sun Herald Surf Swim

The 2nd annual Sun-Herald Surf Swim is set to return to picturesque Dee Why Beach on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

In 2011 the exciting new 1.5km ocean swim attracted a competitive field of more than 800, with entrants enjoying perfect conditions, warm water, sun and sand.

Westpac Life Saver's very own Ambassador, 16 year old ocean marathon swimmer, Lochie Hinds will be entering as part of his preparation for his English Channel swim on 10 July 2012.

The event aims to raise much needed funds for more than 600 charities, including the Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Rescue Service.
